    To be light weight you give up a larger area of focus and stronger magnification. Do not like the eye cups with or without glasses (compared to our better pair). But, for a light weight option these are fine.

    After a lot of comparison shopping and searching for a compact set of binoculars that weren't ridiculously expensive, I was very happy to find these Steiner binoculars at STP. In comparison with other binoculars of this compact size, the Steiners are much better quality and much clearer optics while still at the low, medium price point. They are my go-to binoculars for travel, concerts, sporting events and any situation that may require a little more rough handling. I'm very happy with this purchase.
