Stephanie Mathews Wool-Rich Coat with Scarf - Petite (For Women)

I am 5'2" and this coat fit perfectly everywhere. The sleeves were the right length as was the length of the coat itself. It is a basic style that I don't expect to be out of fashion any time soon. I am very pleased.

The styling of coat involved piecing which did'nt show in the picture and is unattractive and the fabric was poor quality

I am a short woman, just under 5 feet. I bought a size 10, in which outerwear generally fits, though I often wear an 8 petite in other items. The waistline seems to sit in about the right place, so the shoulder-to-midline cut works, but the bottom hem falls nearly to my ankles and the sleeves were too long. If you're taller than I, go for it, because the coat has nice seamwork and a good silhouette. I plan to have it hemmed rather than return it.

This is a practical coat that looks good on, but I'm not sure about the durablity. For me it serves the purpose - I leave home from a garage and enter work from a garage. I am short (5'1"), and have short arms. I almost always need alterations for clothes, even when they're petite sized. However, this coat in a petite fit me perfectly. I needed a stylish and inexpensive long black winter coat for "appearances" when I have meetings, etc., during the day, and this coat fills the bill.

I am short (5'1"), full figured (size 14) with average length arms. It is nearly impossible to get a coat that fits without at least some alterations. I have wanted a longer length wool pea coat style for years, but couldn't find it until now. This coat fits PERFECTLY. I had tried it on at the store in Cheyenne, but didn't have the money that day to buy it as it was[$] Glad I waited because 2 days later it was only [$] online, including shipping. My best purchase from STP yet!

Had to return the coat because of fit. Coat is best for a tall, slim woman. I'm short and "round" so the coat was all wrong for my shape. Otherwise, good quality for the price, and I would have kept the coat if the fit had been right for me.

I shopped for weeks to find a nice dress coat for my petite daughter. She desperately needed one to wear to the various musical events in which she performs.
