    I was looking for a cowboy hat to wear on a trip to the Southwest. Since it's unlikely I'll wear it more afterward, I didn't want to spend a lot on it. I'm very happy with it. Looks good, fits well, seems sturdy. It does seem to run small -- I usually wear a 7 3/8 New Era baseball cap, and the 7 1/4 fits me perfectly.

    Tiny bit large, easily fixed with a bit of padding under the inside band. (I do this to quite a few hats) I wear a 7 1/8, but styles vary in how they fit. No problem there. The hat is very stiff, and that is a good thing in some ways, but it will take a bit of time to break it in to my head. I wore it for three hours today, and it felt much better. I like this hat. I prefer softer ones, however. Stetson hat, can't go wrong there!

    I bought a small and a medium, but both were wrong. I ended up putting three small pieces of felt under liner and the medium fits fine. I am a size 7 1/8 in hats, so this is a bit large. Just a bit. The small almost fit, but tight. That one I gave to my kid.
