Stetson Great Plains 3X Quality Cowboy Hat - Genuine Buffalo Fur

Beautiful hat at a great price!

Husband looked so handsome, that I ordered a second one on sale.

I knew from previous reviews that this hat would not have the vent grometts on the side as pictured. I think this hat is much better looking without them, This is an extremly durable work horse of a hat that works as well on the hiking trail as it does in the city. I expect this to be in my rotation of Stetson for years to come.

This seems to be a high-quality hat. Very nice finishing on the band and liner. When it arrived it felt a bit tight in spots, but I did a quick steam from a tea pot on the inside (all the way around) and then put it back on my head (wait a bit after steaming so you don't scald your forehead) and it basically molded itself to the shape of my melon. Made in USA is a nice feature, too, despite the fact that there is some quality offshore sewing being done these days. All in all, this will probably be a hat that goes the distance with me. Great STP purchase!

I knew from previous comments that it was not the Stetson pictured, and I think it looks better than the one pictured. (which by the way, they don't want us mentioning other sites and prices, but is essentially the same hat is available at a well known upscale outdoor retailer, five letters beginning with O, for about three times more than this great hat) This is a beautiful, well made,durable hat that will last for years. The first time I wore it was horse back riding in the rain for the day. It kept it's shape, is waterproof to the point that my head stayed dry. When the hat dryed it look like it just came out of the box. Really a great hat. Stetson XXX quality at an outstanding price.

Hat is advertised / pictured as having vents and Stetson logo pin. The hat I received has neither. Still a nice hat but not what I ordered. Hat fits tight but since it's a Stetson I presume it will break in after some wear.

Handy for wildlife photography(blends with suroundings and hides my face). The size and shape of the brim provide great sun & rain protection. This hat will mould itself to your head for a custom fit. The hat could use vents in its crown.

Hat is of excellent quality. Appreciate the satin inner lining and leather sweatband. Feels a full size too small. The item I received did not have ventilation grommets which would have been a definite plus.
