These are definitely winter pants. They're THICK tweed and fully lined. Comfortable and very warm, a little bulky, but not unflattering. They do smell a little like bailing twine or burlap, but it's not an unpleasant smell, and nothing a little airing out won't cure. Really high quality, especially for the price. I think they may fit a little large - I'm usually a 6, but a 4 fit me best.

Lucky for these pants they were so inexpensive and I have a sense of humor about the clothes I wear. The fabric is a really chunky tweed and the cut is wide-legged, which together create the effect of having bought an ugly sofa in the 70s, ripped off the fabric covering and made a pair of trousers out of it. The inseam is indeed 33" but feels like 35 or 36", maybe because they hang low on the hips (or at least they do on mine: I got size 10, my hips are between a 10 and 12 by STP's chart, but my waist is a good deal smaller). I'll have to either get them hemmed or buy a pair of platform heels to make them work (and really complete the 70s look). I would only recommend these trousers to someone youthful enough to pull off "retro" without looking outdated.

These are horrible slacks. They are a super heavy material and fit terribly. Don't waste your time even for the super low price. that was what got me but regretted it immediately. Sent them back!
