5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Overshirt!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ski Demon from Lake Tahoe on Thursday, September 8, 2016This product comes as advertized. Very comfortable, and much heavier than I expected. Its fully flannel lined, except for the sleeves, so you can wear it over other layers without the sleeves pulling up to your elbows. Have not had it out in the rain yet. I ordered it a size up so I could layer underneath, and it is perfect for what I was looking for.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Like the product but poor fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Thursday, August 18, 2016Seems like a good fall/spring item for outdoor wear. I'm 6'3" with long arms but athletic/slender. I need more of a large long with seems hard to find but occasionally XL is perfect. In this case the sleeves are great but the rest of it is far too large in the chest and body. If you are bulky and tall this would be a good fit but for me it allows too much cold air up from the bottom and fits like a blanket.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice midweight shirt jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by pkndt from Madison, WI on Monday, May 9, 2016Exactly as I had hoped. I am generally between a medium and large. Ordered Large and it fits well; a little more roomy in the body than I would like but the arms are just the right length for me.
Nice finish, nice lining. Snaps seem very solid. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. When a 2XL is interchangeable with a XL !Verified Buyer Reviewed by BoogeyMan from Ohio on Tuesday, April 19, 2016Loved the shirt, good quality and style. Sadly, the roomy 2XL I expected was very snug. I would order a full size up.

3.0 out of 5 stars. wish it had been advertised as a return instead of finding out the hard wayVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from northeast Kansas on Saturday, February 13, 2016price was good, shipping was fast, shirt arrived well packaged.
unfortunately, when I opened the bag, it smelled like someone had broken a bottle of cologne/perfume/room spray in with the shirt. the smell was so strong, it gave me and the wife headaches and the dogs asked to be let outside. I sent an email to customer service that was never answered, but a week and a half later I received 2 requests from them for feedback and customer service surveys.
so first things first - detailed visual inspection of the shirt -- lightweight fabric, not greasy feeling, seams are good - no loose threads, see-through snaps are snug, but not nail-breakers, lines sleeves and on-seam pockets. The used lighter in the right pocket works nice -- thanks for the bonus! flannel lining probably in the 4 oz range, and it has a vintage/distressed look -- edges of the sleeves and collar are a slightly different color as though the oil treatment was worn, etc.....
by that time, my eyes were watering, so I read the laundry instructions and tossed it in the washing machine with some bath towels on cold cycle, then hung it to dry over a floor vent overnight - cut the smell in half, had to rewash the towels to get the smell out of them, and it still gave the wife headaches when i wore it into town...
2 days after getting it, I wore it to a friends and stood in the smoke while he built a fire for his kids to make s'mores. whatever the first owner doused it with is effective, because it didn't smell like smoke after that.
10 days later it still smells, but much fainter, no longer makes my eyes water, chases the dogs out of the house, or gives the wife headaches.
now for the part some of you really want to hear -- the reason it gets 3 stars despite all that, the shirt itself, sans odors, is excellent. wind does not go through it. the flannel lining is just enough that I'm comfortable in it at 20f - but not baking myself to death at 55f (it's February, we haven't had any days above that yet). I have not encountered any rain, snow, or sleet yet, so I do not know how well it will fend off water.
overall, had this been advertised as open box/returned item, it would have gotten 5 stars -- it does exactly what I wanted, it provides me with a lightweight outer layer that will get me through 3 seasons. -
