Reviewed by ziaboulder from New Mexico on Friday, October 11, 2013My typical saggy oversized backpack was wearing out. The STM pack sits high on my back, holds what I need, and feels comfy. I've been trying to convince my workstudy students to buy this pack.
Reviewed by loveswool from northern iowa on Monday, September 9, 2013I got this for my bike commute to work, and it's perfect. Be aware that this backpack is slightly bigger than the typical college-campus book carrier, 13.5 inches across the back, with an easily removable padded case for a 15" laptop inside. The quality is excellent, with nice features like padding for shoulder blades and a compact rain cover that tucks into a zipped compartment on the bottom. Plus all the convenient features like exterior zip pocket for my bike key, three separate interior spaces so books are safe from lunch and small items (pen, phone etc) are in their own organized area. Love it!

one thing the product description doesn't tell you: this pack comes with an attached rain fly tucked into the bottom of it. i consider that a hallmark of any well-made pack, and it's actually the one thing that made me hesitate buying it in the first place.
i got the bondi blue. no telling yet how it'll wear over time, but i like the look of it a lot. well done, STM!

-protects your laptop well
-fits my laptop, my tablet, and a good amount of my art supplies
-the only complaint i have is that it is a bit on the bulky side , which may not even be a bad thing. it just depends on preference
