Stonefly Box 5 Casual Flats (For Women)

I like the Stonefly brand for its durability and comfort, and would have kept these shoes had they fit better. They flopped in the heel.

I purchased these with the intent to use on a walking vacation in Europe. After reading all of the reviews, I ordered a half size smaller than my normal sizing and found that they were still too big. After wearing them around the house for a couple of hours, they stretched out even further. I loved the styling and they are extremely comfortable, but I reluctantly returned them, feeling that an exchange for a full size smaller was a bit chancey.

I would recommend most Stonefly products because they are one of the very best for comfort and quite stylish. However the Box 5 causal flats, but not this one, the name said it all, too boxy and the insoles does not fit correctly, every time you make a step it keeps sliding off, and I felt like there was something underneath the shoes. Finally I had to return them, I saw another pair at Sierra Trading Post in Reno, maybe she had the same problem.d

I knew that the European size I ordered would be too big, but with the addition of a pad, they fit well. They are cute shoes, as well as being comfortable and well made.

I wanted to keep these shoes so bad! They were style-wise exactly what I wanted. They were travel-worthy, comfortable, stable, and could cross between casual and dressy. It may be the pair I ordered but they smelled so strongly that I could not keep them. I tried to let them air out but it did not get better. It seemed that there was some sort of sachet sewn between the outer and inner leather. I reluctantly returned them.

I have one pair of stonefly shoes that I love, so I tried these. They stretched out to one size too big almost immediately after feeling rather tight around the instep area. Now they flop at the back. I didn't try to stretch them, nor did I wear them with socks. I was wearing them with knee high stockings for work. I added a heelie and that has helped. Disappointing.

Wanted a flat that I could wear with suits or dresses but yet was comfortable for the sore feet. These seem to do the trick. Hurray!

These shoes are not what I would expect from Stonefly. They look better in the picture than in person. The sole is thick and wedge, so they lose style points for that. I like the sueded leather, and the color is versatile, but the upper is not terribly stylish. They run large. I ordered the two sizes I normally fall between, and both were too large.

These are very comfortable shoes. However, the combination thick soles, small bow, and scalloped edges made the design look frumpy.

Years ago I bought my first pair of Stonefly shoes, and have been very happy with them! I was delighted to find these at such a good price! Great shoes!
