    This shoe is one of the most comfortable I have ever worn! I have had a total knee replacement & I am careful with the height of the heel on a shoe, this one is perfect...not too low, not too high, just right. This is a wonderful shoe & will gets lots of wear, try it.

    The strap feeds into the buckle backwards from a standard buckle and is difficult to fasten. It seems to be a comfortable and well-made shoe, though.

    I bought these online after paying full retail for another pair of Stoneflys that were wonderful for three weeks of walking in Paris, Bath and London. Alas, this pair was very ill-fitting with poor arch support. I have added some DeFeet inserts, which has helped, but the shoe is still not quite right. A disappointement considering the previous very positive experience.

    I thought the strap would make this shoe a perfect fit, but somehow -- maybe it's the placement -- that just doesn't do it and they gap. I have a thin (but not narrow) foot and it's very difficult to find shoes that don't fall off. A different insole made these snugger but then my heel slips out. I like this brand, just not this shoe.
