I disagree with the previous reviewer - these pants fit my waist pretty well, and I have a very small waist compared to my hips. The hips, however, are a bit on the large side - just so that the pants wrinkle a little at the tops of my legs. The fit in back is perfect, smooth over the butt and tapered in at the waist. I would definitely call these a curvy fit - cut close to the way pants were 20 years ago, lol. The waist is a couple of inches below my belly button. I could probably wear a size down but there isn't one, so I'll keep these. They're very Audrey Hepburn.

These are definitely moms or even grandma pants. Fabric is gorgeous and from the hip down they fit. However they gap in the waist - or maybe they just overall too big. I already ordered them in a size smaller that I normally wear taking a stretchy fabric into consideration - but they are still too big in the waist and the waist is 2" above my belly button. Ordering size even smaller won't work because then they will be too tight in the hips and thighs. Maybe I'll try pettite sizeing eventhough I'm not pettite by any means.
