It really is perfect for layering, but it is an excellent piece on its own to wear with a skirt, slacks, shorts, or jeans. Do not hesitate to pick one up. It is the perfect backdrop to wear with a beautiful necklace.

If you like very fitted, I would order down a size. I ordered my usual medium size and it fit well enough not to exchange. The fabric is soft and stretchy with shoulders that cover bra straps. Just what I needed to wear with a printed cotton summer cardigan and black pants. It is Lands End is excellent construction. I haven't washed it yet but I have no concerns.

Washed well although I wish I had line dried or dried on a lower setting. I think there would have been fewer wrinkles. No shrinkage however. Very nice to layer with sweaters.
