    Good, basic black dress, especially at this price. Good with a jacket over it. I think it could be worn with a blouse under it (almost like a jumper) as well. My only complaint was that the darts through the middle could be a bit longer for a trimmer fit through the middle. It pooches out below the waist on me. That is a very easy alteration to make, however. I just haven't pulled out the sewing machine yet.

    I got this at such a bargain it could hardly miss, but it really is a very useful little black dress. A reviewer complained of the neckline back--I can imagine that someone thin through the shoulders would have a gap. It is quite low-cut for dressy wear but could have a very thin blouse, scarf, or dickey added for a more modest look. The fabric is stretchy and medium weight.
