“Nice looking, but ...”

“This boot is a great deal price-wise, but I had a couple of difficulties. Firstly, I ordered a wide size and they really felt more like a medium. I seriously considered returning them but I had gotten rid of the box they came in. After wearing them a few times they were comfortable enough. However, they are very stiff leather and the top of the boot is still very stiff and hard on the front of my leg if I need to bend down, etc. I'm hoping they will "break in." I saw the same boot for more than twice the price on a major internet shoe store, so they are a good value in that sense. The style is very cute, but it is a very round toe (I prefer the "almond"-shaped toe). I'm kind of "on the fence" on this one.”
