“Tight in the calf”

“This is a very nice boot, but you need pretty small calves to wear it. I don't have pencil-thin calves like a teenager or a model, but my legs are slimmer than most people's and the boots were too tight to zip up. I normally wear a 6-6.5 and my feet are medium-wide width. I ordered the 6.5 wide and the foot felt a bit tight too. The boots are very nicely made, though. I'm so disappointed I won't be able to wear them. I may order shoes from this company but I won't get their boots. It's such a shame; this is one of the few companies that offers boots in wide widths.”
