Very comfortable hat. Slightly large but easily adjusted to fit. Otherwise fits well. Repels water effectively while blocking the sun. I'm very pleased.

Used this when out all day in wind and rain. Chin strap kept the hat on despite a good wind. Good coverage to keep you neck dry.

not very good looking looks cheap

The cinch strap around the brim doesn't keep the hat snug on my head. The adjustable chin strap can barely be felt, however, so the brim cinch strap doesn't matter. In addition, with the chin strap on, it's easy to slip the hat off my head when I walk into a store, letting the hat hang on my back with the chin strap around my neck. Right now (Spring) the hat is comfortable everyday which is how often I wear it due to me walking dogs for my pet sitting business. The hat is so light weight, it may even be comfortable in the hottest, humid Washington DC weather. If not, I'll just switch to a shade hat with a ventilated brim (which I also purchased from Sierra Trading Post)on dry days.

After having skin cancer, I am always looking for ways to cover up and protect the skin. This hat was purchased for more than just rainy days. I use it when participating in any outdoor activity and have had numerous compliments while wearing this hat.

I purchsed this hat to wear on the Mule trip down the Grand Canyon next summer. I love this hat. It is so light and comfortable and it looks cute on. It feels great on and I am not usually a hat person!
