I use the watch for all athletic activities. Its awesome for tracking progress and calories burned, etc... The only down side Ive found with it is the overwellming amount of information it can provide. Its almost to much. I probably only use 60% of the functions. Not a real problem. Definatly would buy another and highly recommend.

I have had my T3 for 4 months now and use it 3-4 times a week. This is my 4th HRM in 12 years the last one being a Polar a very good HRM but the Suunto is heads above the Polar I had. Because the T3 does more I still am not totally familar with it but what I do use, which is most of its features, gives me a lot more information I didn't have with all of the other HRMs of the past. It stores two weeks of use all the others I have had just one day. The mode I have it set is percentage of maximum heart rate. The Suunto has a scale on the outer ring that shows your actual heart rate allowing you have the % of HR showing at the same time. On the other HRMs you could only view one at a time. My wife uses her HRM 3-4 times a week as well and I bought her one last week. I know she will like her T3 as much as I like mine. It takes some reading the manual a couple of times to figure it out how to set up the HRM but it only takes 2 buttons to operate the unit to start and stop it. The monitor is thin and very comfortable on my wrist. I did buy the Invisible Shield for both HRMs as recommended by a reviewer.

I love this product. You have to spend a little time with the directions to figure everything out. It is very user friendly once you start to understand how to use it. The watch part is a little bigger than I usually would choose, but it makes the display easier to read when you are working out. It has changed the way I work out and gives immediate feedback.

Was so easy to use right out of the box, I have not opened the instructions yet. Dial is easy to read even with a quick look on the road. Being able to detach the sender and wash the strap is sweet! This thing works like a charm.

I have been thinking about getting a heart rate monitor for years and finally with my deal flyer and sale I got it for under $100 as a birthday gift for myself. I love it! It was easy to program and tracks my training for 2 weeks. I wish I had gotten one years ago!

I have only had the Suunto heart rate monitor for a month but like it very much. This is the fourth HRM (all different brands) I have had over the past 12 years and like this one the best. As other reviews have stated it takes reading the directions a couple of times and practice with the Suunto a few times before it comes automatic. I am glad I made the investment.

After 30 years of running, my first HRM to help perk up my race times. Polar is the brand I usually see on my fellow racers , but I'm married to an avid scuba diver who is very familiar with Suunto dive computers. There's ample research on the net on pros and cons of this brand and model vs. Polar. Despite some negative reviews, I like the band and the watch feels light & comfortable. The Sierra price coupled with a my web mailer discount couldn't be beat. I'm just learning how to use it. It's not as difficult as some online reviews would have you believe (I'm no techie). I followed the advice of many reviewers about the crystal scratching and got a screen shield from [...].

My husband and I both got one of these HR monitors. We can use them side by side with no cross interference. It has all the features I was looking for in a HR monitor and then some. Takes a little bit to familiarize oneself with the features, but it isn't too complex considering all of the options. Super bonus, you can change the battery yourself eliminating the polar HR monitor grand disadvantage.
