    This is for my son-in-law who not only works outdoors most of the time but who also fishes in very cold damp areas. This sweater seems ideal and reminds me of the old Navy-issue midnight blue wool sweaters that were so warm and repelled water. Also very well made and handsome with the suede shoulder patches.

    Very good quality for the price, but they run large. I'm usually somewhere between a medium and large size in sweaters. The large Swanndri was huge.

    The felt is very thick and stiff at the shoulders and juts out from the shoulder line. It gave a top-heavy look and even a smaller size would have done the same. Not sure it would have ever gotten softer and better fitting. otherwise it looked ample as a warm sweater.

    This sweater goes well with jeans. Dresses up nicely and keeps its shape wearing or not wearing. The blue color is just different enough to be unique. Unfortunately, you will have to iron the kink from the shoulders if you fold it, every time. A material problem.
