Had a cotton Oxford shirt and this jacket on in the mountains today, at 15 degrees F with a brisk wind, elevation 9,500 ft. Had jeans, good boots and socks and wooley hat. Had a very warm core. The jacket kept the chillwind out. Big pockets carry all your stuff, and your hands. I had this jacket stolen from a hotel in early December so am delighted to find a replacement for the winter.
