Swiss Army Brands Fireman Rescue Knife

This is bigger than the backpacker style Swiss Army knife I had. The handle is about 4.25 inches long and is very comforable to hold. The locking main blade is a little over three inches long (blade portion). The saw blade has thick, sharp teeth. The reamer, tweezers and toothpick are nice to have. The only thing it doesn't have is a pair of scissors but I don't miss it.

It is great to take it with me anytime, anywhere. Very handy and useful.

I got this because I needed a pocket knife for camping and hiking. It's bigger and heavier than I expected, but I suppose that's the trade-off for having things like the saw blade, which I wanted. It's definitely not a knife to carry in your pocket on a regular basis. I keep mine in my car in case of emergencies and plan to take it for camping and hiking. It's got the tools I really want, like a sturdy knife, tweezers (good for ticks), saw blade for wood, and a blade that can cut seatbelts or straps.

This "Fireman" SAKnife is identical to the SAK Hunter knife which I carry all fall. It's a very useful tool at a favorable price.

I carry a Swiss Army Knife with me at all times. The fireman's knife is toobig/thick/heavy to fit comfortably in my pocket. It seems well made though.

Knife will be given as a gift and it fits the exact needs of any individual looking for a large knife for emergency situations.

I use this knife everyday in the field. The main blade is longer than your average swiss army knife blade. The saw blade is also longer than your typical field utility tool. I make a lot of wooden spoons and deadfall traps, so I appreciate a saw you can actually cut a 2-3 inch tree branch with cleanly. I'd say the only drawback, this goes for all folding knives, is cleanup after cutting meat or vegetables.
