Just received this fish fry pan and haven't used it yet. Having been sold without a lid, this pan seems to be available elsewhere WITH a lid. I'm looking into how much a separate lid costs and where it can be purchased. Without a lid, I'll need to come up with some sort of splatter screen for frying fish that's pretty big considering a pan width of 15". Also, the pan size is large and awkward for storing.

Will keep this handy for regular use. Would prefer a round pan but for the price and quality, I can adjust to the oval shape.

fried tomatoes, liver and onions, kielbasi and sausage, hamburgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, and stir fry, cheese omlets and bacon. Nothing sticks, pan heats evenly, high sides keeps splatter off the stove top.

Sear, brown or grill on burner then finish in oven. Did 8 lb prime rib was prefect. Great foo poaching whole fish with lid. Perfect for large one pot meals. Like all Swiss diamond most cleanups just hot water and a towel very seldom need to even scrub. Says you can use metal utensils but I use silicone and pans seem to last for years just like new.
