    I love that this is cotton - very cool and comfy. The ruffles make it a little different from an ordinary shirtwaist. However, the sleeves are definitely not long; they're 3/4 length. I'll probably roll the cuffs up once to make it look better. A few sizing issues: I got the sz L, and I usually wear a 14. It fits perfectly in the bust & shoulders on me, but I think it will be too small for someone who wears a 16. I'm also short-waisted and the belt loops are a little high for me - I'll probably try to carefully move them down a little. But, for the price, I'm glad I got it.

It also shrunk when washed even when washed as directed; but that's OK because I'm dieting. I waited 3-4 weeks and it's perfect! I love that it's lined, making it so comfortable. It's the kind of dress that is appropriate for so many occasions, so versatile and the price was great.
