    I bought a size larger than normal due to previous experience with a similar garment. I'm glad I did because I guessed right. It also shrunk when washed even when washed as directed; but that's OK because I'm dieting. I waited 3-4 weeks and it's perfect! I love that it's lined, making it so comfortable. It's the kind of dress that is appropriate for so many occasions, so versatile and the price was great.

    I love that this is cotton - very cool and comfy. The ruffles make it a little different from an ordinary shirtwaist. However, the sleeves are definitely not long; they're 3/4 length. I'll probably roll the cuffs up once to make it look better. A few sizing issues: I got the sz L, and I usually wear a 14. It fits perfectly in the bust & shoulders on me, but I think it will be too small for someone who wears a 16. I'm also short-waisted and the belt loops are a little high for me - I'll probably try to carefully move them down a little. But, for the price, I'm glad I got it.

    i love the dress it is a nice breathable cotton for my louisiana weather. it is a perfect fall dress for around here due to the heat and humidity we still fell during this time of year. nice fabric and the length is at my knees so it is also work appropriate.
