    I bought this as a cycling jacket for my recumbent-riding husband, and it looks like it will work fine, though we can't test it until the snow melts on the trails! Not only is it windproof in front, but the back is entirely seamless and very breathable, so it's even more suited to 'bent riding than we expected. Note that the back is all-black, which you can't tell from the picture.

    The windproof and water-resistant membrane used on the front of this jacket works really well. The sleeves are generous in length, which lends itself well to uses such as cross country skiing and cycling.
