Swix Star Advanced Jacket (For Men)

Gave this to my son for Christmas. He loves it - and it looks great on him!

This is an incredible jacket from Swix. The weight is perfect for cool and cold weather active sports. I was initially worried the torso would be too long, but the size is perfect and it doesn't hang down to far or seem baggy (my pet peeve). There are some nice elasticized cinch gadgets on either side of the waist so you can let it in or out, depending on what you're wearing: tights, ski pants, etc. The collar is nice and tall so it easily folds over when you're warm, or can be zipped up in cold winds. Good sleeve length for skiing - long enough to keep your arms covered when reaching with the poles. A great buy.

Not bad but the athletic fit was not there for me, the sleeves are a little long and a little baggy in the upper arms, like their track jacket though

i liked the long cut of the back which is good for cycling.

This jacket is a Christmas gift for my grandson who is just learning how to ski. He's only 12 years old, but very tall and slim. He get's to warm in a big heavy coat - - so, I think this one will work very well for him.

Athletic fit, breathable, and warm. I nordic ski for my workout; about 4 times a week, and having comfortable clothing that works well is important. This jacket meets my expectations. One thing; I wasn't sure whether to get the medium or large, they both seemed to fit well, but I ordered the medium and it seems to work, but barely. More petite then the large, of course, but arm length, torso, chest still fit.

This jacket was purchased as a top layer for nordic skiing. It is ideal for this - comfortable, lightweight and warm. Fit is good - my husband is tall and slim and the L is perfect. It has been out and about in fairly bad weather and was up to the task, although it probably wouldn't be suitable for a really wet day.

Very Snug fit, probably won't be able to layer up in colder weather, great for mild weather or cool weather skiing.

order up two sizes if jacket is to be worn with mid-weight sweater or fleece;otherwise,up one size.Ideal combination of breathability and wind resistance for those who produce a lot of heat when cross country skiing.Excellent design and combination of materials at a price that seems to represent a terrific value.Don't know yet about durability.
