    The snow is finally gone (I hope) from the Finger Lakes of western New York. This jacket does run small, especially if you prefer a nonconfining fit. I normally wear a 8-10 (medium) and ordered the large for some room (light layer). It looks like it will be a decent jacket for cross-country skiing. It should work out well.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I went back and forth between medium and large and ultimately went with large (I'm 5'7", 130 lb). The sleeves and overall size were otherwise perfect in the medium, but considering my main use would be XC skiing, there was something overly snug across the back of the shoulders in the medium. So the large is overall slightly bigger than I need, but have better freedom of movement.

    I had to exchange the first one as I ordered the small (I am usually a 6-8) and the sleeves were just a little short. The medium fits much better overall - I'm 5'8" and 135 lbs. I got this jacket in the sunset color and its beautiful! Can't wait to wear it running, xc skiing, snowshoeing...
