    The parts in this kit are high quality. I'm new to waxing backcountry skis and certainly expected a manual to explain set-up and different types of wax for various snow conditions. Few pictures on the iron box may help a newbee. Need a friend or visit a ski shop for another wax and pick up some info.

    Got it all setup quickly and was waxing in no time. I think a thicker scraper will be my next purchase. The one complaint is that mine did not come with the Nordic Base Prep wax. STP customer service checked with the vendor and came back with this response "I have been informed that there is no Nordic Base Pre Wax that comes with item #2824R-99". Um well - why is it pictured and in the description then?
