I don't look good in hats generally, but cowboy hats work; so this seemed like a perfect combination of the style and hot-weather appropriate gear. The small fit me snugly and perfectly, no chance of blowing off (I'm a 5'4" woman with, as far as I know, a perfectly ordinary sized head). The wide brim kept the sun off well, and the crown collapses flat for easy packing. As other reviewers have noted, it is VERY thing, to the point where it is in fact hard to believe it's leather. But it's also so lightweight that in 90 degrees, 75% humidity, it never bothered me, so yep, perfect for what I wanted.

This hat is crushable and is VERY lightweight. It is actually almost paper thin but is real leather. Some may think it is too thin but it's what I wanted for the hot Italian sun. Arrivederci!
