Reviewed by wyogal from OK on Monday, March 31, 2014This is a great alternative to the "soccer" chairs we carry around from field to field. This one is heavier but it's worth it. I can easily get up and out of it too. It is a bit awkward to get into the carry bag but otherwise no complaints. I think it will hold up well as the wood is very solid.
Reviewed by Cindi from New York City on Wednesday, January 29, 2014I bought the white on white. It looks wonderful against a beige wall. It is supportive, easy to assemble and has it's own carry bag! It is perfect for the price and doesn't look cheap - it appears substantial, and feels that way when sitting in it, even for hours. I am happy with the purchase.
Reviewed by OCULUS from Rensselaer, NY on Sunday, September 8, 2013These are a switch from the folding butterfly chairs that are increasingly difficult for me to get up out of without stressing the frame and fabric. These are fairly solid (but no match for my 30-year old models with hefty canvas and wood dowels to secure the seat).
The fabric is lightweight and breathable, the frame seems sturdy. The only issue I had with one (bought a pair) was that the channel through which the cheesy plastic dowel runs to secure the seat was not finished and thus it had burrs that kept snagging the fabric-wrapped dowel. I finally got it through-- working it back and forth-- without puncturing a hand or scraping a knuckle. The plastic dowel is obviously chopped from a roll of it and all the ends are VERY SHARP; that coupled with the close semi-folded frame clearance made drawing the fabric/dowel through the channel a real chore.
Now it's all done and I carry it to the trap range in its black cloth bag, where everybody thinks I'm trying to one-up them and their butterfly chairs…and I get up and down without worry.
