These Tamarack Snow Drifter boots are warm and comfortable right out of the box - no break in needed. The soft collar is nice on the ankles, and these actually look decent for going out and running errands on a snowy day (no "moon boot" look). Half-sizes would have been nice, as there is a pretty bi... Read More

  • Question “What temperature are these approved to?”

Asked on 11/21/2016 4:41:14 PM by Moving to MN from Las vegas
    • Answer I honestly don't know but I live in the New England states of the United States where it does get near zero at times and so far they seem warm enough.

    • Answer I don't know, but they are very warm and surprisingly lightweight.
Answered on 11/22/2016 6:24:11 AM by Diane from Pa
    • Answer Sorry there is not a temperature rating. Most manufacturers do not have temperature ratings for their garments or footwear due to the number of factors that affect how warm a garment may keep you.

    • Answer My wife is a pretty true-to-size 8, so she ordered an 8 in these...and, upon receipt, was concerned they were going to be a little too small with thick winter socks once she tried them on (we snowshoe quite a bit, so blister potential was high). Thus, she ordered a 9 thinking it would be better due to the "half sizes order up" guidance...and the 9's felt huge (fortunately we have a neighbor who loved the 9's, so we didn't need to send them back). If you're an 8, you're probably best going with an 8 and then adjusting your sock thickness accordingly if they're not a perfect fit.

    • Answer According to our fit models we recommend half sizes order up.
