Tardini Stitched Matte Leather Belt (For Men)

The belt is clearly well-made with expensive-looking leather, but it is a good inch shorter than other belts I have that are the same size. Until I develop the willpower to diet, I will wear it on the last hole. I like the deep color of the belt, but will not exchange it because there are none left in a larger size. Would recommend to a friend with caveat as to size.

I was happy with this when I first received it, but the durability of this belt has proved to be horrendously bad. Within two months it had stretched so substantially that I was wearing it two notches in from where I started (I might add that I'm not exactly bursting out of this, I'm over 6' tall with a 32" waist) and the nickle-plate on the buckle was flaking off. The belt never even made it to three months, as the leather tore beneath the stitching at the buckle attachment. Yes, you read that right, the leather tore, not the stitching-- it would seem that the thread used to stitch this belt is stronger than the leather. I had hoped the Italian pedigree would indicate quality, but apparently not in this case.
