“Good steelhead rod”

“This is a solid rod at a great STP price. There are two things I should point out: the action isn't as fast compared with say a Redington CPS and its a bit shy on backbone into the blank. Having said that, its plenty of rod for the price and great for steelhead. My blank has slight color variations in two sections but you aren't buying a Sage or a Winston and you aren't spending $500+. You can't see it unless its pointed out and it certainly doesn't prevent me from catching fish...I can take care of that all by myself. The rod comes with an extra tip which is sweet for those of us with unfriendly car doors.”
