Closeouts. Zip into the Famed modern ankle boot by Taryn Rose for a chic look with just a hint of Victorian flair. The contrast cap toe and oversized silver grommets along the side shaft bring a contemporary look to a traditional shape.

These boots are classically stylish. I have them on right now straight out of the box and they feel divine. The construction is really aimed to fit and support the foot and they are beautifully made. They also look adorable and will be great with dresses/skirts as well as jeans/trousers.This is my first pair of Taryn Rose and I can see why everyone raves about her footwear. Just wonderful!Very feminine and sleek.Excellent quality and my feet feel able to move and well supported.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I wear these boots all day long and am very comfortable in them. I have never seen anyone wear a similar boot. I have had dozens of great comments about them. They can be work with business clothes or casual dress.

They are really cute and a little bit funky. They are really well made and will be very comfortable the next time I wear them. I made the mistake of going on a long walk the first time I wore them so have blisters on my little toes.

I have heard that Taryn by Taryn Rose shoes run a little small. I usually wear a 10.5 and these boots fit in a 10 with midweight socks. Good width, no narrow pinches. You may want to test several sizes. I have not tried running for a bus in them, but the heels are solid enough, and it will not rain until October or November, so no idea about how weatherproof they may be. Interior of boots is smooth, seamless, no chafe spots. Soles are smooth leather and an anti-skid panel (like Catspaw, but not Catspaw) has been applied over *part* of the sole, under the ball of the foot.
The shaft (ankle and up) is generously sized and is scaled with size, meaning that a smaller shoe size will have a narrower shaft and larger shoe a wider shaft. Good height for trouser wear. The heel is not a narrow or small heel, and is teardrop-shaped for stability, but is not wide enough to be ideal for walking long distances. The angle between the heel and the sole's ground-contact area is comfortable, not overly steep, and the boot does not narrow there. My arches do not feel particularly well supported despite the maker's reputation for supportive shoes.
The grommet-and-leather detailing on the side is not overtly Victorian/Edwardian, but is identical to the detailing on some "dressy" snow boots my mother bought in the '70s, which I took to Goodwill last week...
