Taryn by Taryn Rose Siren Ankle Boots (For Women)

I am not a heels gal so can't give these a full 5 stars because I won't be doing significant walking in them. But the insoles are insanely comfy on my medium-almost-wide width picky feet!! If they were flat I'd wear them daily- the heels certainly look good though and the metallic is subtle beautiful and not tacky like it could have been.

I haven't worn them alot, but the moment I tried them on I knew that these were meant for my feet. I look forward to giving them the true test. They are beautiful and comfortable too. Not generally words that go together when talking about footwear.

I tried Taryn Rose shoes on a few years ago in a high end department store, and I did not like them at that time. Clunky, boring, costly. This shoe is much different. First of all, size 41 matches my size 11 foot (a few years ago, I needed a 42 in Taryn Rose). Its thick heel allows for stable support while walking/standing. The roomy toebox does not strangle the foot, even accomodating a sock. The overall shape fits my 5'11" frame well and manages to look stylish and sexy, while being comfortable. Add a great price on top of that, and you have a winner! One draw back: the arch support IS very high. My low arches will need to adjust. Also, I would not suggest wearing the shoe in high sleet/snow. You would wear it out quickly.

Beautiful short boot. I received a lot of complements. However at the end of the day, my feet were fatigued. Caveat - I don't often wear very high heels and the fact that I got through a day with them should be seen as a positive.

These boots disappointed me. The leather was nice and I loved the color (pewter, which as previously noted, is actually a muted bronze). However, I felt overall it looked rather "clunky" and unsophisticated, like a dressed up rainboot. Also as previously noted, it has a substantial arch support, so this may fit someone with higher arches than it fit me.

These boots are great. I've received complements every time I've worn them. I had to purchase the pewter in one-half size larger than I ordinarily wear, because my size was not available. I'm glad I did; thick socks and an sole insert fixed the size problem. If they came in other colors and had my size ( or close to it ) I'd buy another pair.

Stylish and not too conservative like some of the other Taryn Rose styles. The pewter color goes well with a lot of colors. I can walk in these boots all day without any discomfort, and best of all, there is no breaking-in period.

Its just too bad about these boots.. Very cute and great color (got the metallic pewter) but maybe these shoes are just for someone with a high arch b/c the support inside the shoe was rather noticeable and was painful after a few minutes.. Someone else might enjoy these.. made well..

A bargain for well-made and well-designed boots by Taryn Rose. Will have these for years. Bought in both black and pewter... the pewter is actually prettier than it looks in the picture and goes well with tan or brownish slacks.
