    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Taryn Rose is known for their style and comfort, unfortunately this shoe does not follow in that tradition. After seeing them on my feet, they appeared matronly rather than stylish. The instep was high and uncomfortable, and I was forced to return the shoe. Other shoes by this designer fit wonderfully, but these shoes looked and felt like they were created by someone else.

    My first Taryn Rose shoe and it didn't disappoint. The leather is great and the comfort is amazing, even though the heel is higher than I usually wear. You put them on and you feel like you're stepping on pillows. I love these shoes. I ordered a half size larger than my usual, and they fit well, though I suspect that my normal size would have worked OK also. (My normal size was sold out.) I confess I didn't like the bow too much, so I took them off. The shoe looks great with the leather band and the two brass buttonholes. You would never know it used to have a bow.
