Verified Buyer Reviewed by Earthangel from Northern Illinois on Thursday, June 19, 2014I love the look of these sandals with the simple details so I ended up ordering them in two sizes. But the fit was off for me and they hit the top of my foot in an awkward place for me both times so I had to return them. Wish I could have kept them. The style and craftsmanship is superb.
Reviewed by rainydaywoman from Oregon on Tuesday, June 17, 2014These Birks have a very attractive look. The single broad strap is a very comfortable style if you have high arches, as I do, and the footbed of these is good for high arches as well. It's getting harder to find Birks in real leather, but frankly, they wear better than the artificial material, so it's very nice to find these for a good price. I wear a 9 in US sizing, which is usually a 40 in European, but I've always taken a 39 in Birk sandals. I ordered a 39 in these and they fit perfectly. They take a little bit of breaking in. I wore them around the house with socks for a couple of days to soften up the edges of the leather. Now they're fantastic.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nm from Mi on Monday, June 16, 2014I have worn Birkenstocks for 20 years, decided to try these out. I normally get 2 straps, which seem to stay tight to the foot while walking, whereas these fit more like flip flops, minus the uncomfortable strap between your toes. Once u get used to the flop on your heel, they are great, very cute on, a little dressier than the traditional birds.
