Bought the dark brown suede and the antique brown and love them. I've always wore the size 38 birks and thought I was a medium width person. I discovered though, that the medium is for men (unisex) and the narrow for women. This involved returning the first pair, and swapped tan for the dark suede. I didn't realize (or maybe they didn't have them then), they had the antique brown and I joyfully ordering them. Birks are the best. This kind has the thick rubber soles instead of the cork. I have an old pair of these shoes with rubber soles and they are 20 years old! Very comfy. The STP customer service people are great.

These wonderful clogs are superbly manufactured - high quality in all respects. However, whoever decided to advise the purchaser to buy one size smaller because these clogs run large really blew it! I have lots of Birkenstock sandals, clogs and other products. I wear a size 11 street shoe and athletic shoe so I always buy a size 44 in European sizes. For this purchase I followed the guidance on the STP website for this product and ordered a size 43 but it is totally too short so it goes back this week. Argh!!

Just recieved my Tatami Oklahoma, really a sweet shoe, nice leather. When ordering it said this ( runs large, order whole size smaller ) but I found it ran true to size.I was so undecided on which size to order so went with my normal size 39 N in birkenstock. I have spent a small fortune this last year on shipping and reurns. I was buying , Papillio , Footprint and Alpro by birkenstock and birkenstock.I also.bought a pr. of Alton, at my local birkenstock store as to find my right size. I live in Alaska on the peninsula so shopping here is limited. I have found they ALL are a little different in sizing.I can also wear 39 M in some styles.I need the metatarsal support so have found that in birkenstocks.I Also, wear dansko.
