soft scent and relieves electric razor burn. Does not sting or 'bite' like some gels with alcohol. not worth the price for me though, love bath and body works after shave but they don't make it anymore

At a time when everybody and their sister complains about strong fragrances, (and most pricey after-shaves smell like bowl cleaners), this is a welcome throwback to the good old sandalwood days. This balm is smoothing on the skin and leaves a soft scent that is less prevalent than most aftershaves. (the fussy allergen-prone whiner at the office won't mind this). And it is allergen-free itself. And fyi Taylor was "Established in the reign of Queen Victoria." Must still be looking for a Royal Writ, but nice sentiment.
