I bought one of these for myself and one for my son. Mine stopped working after 18 hours. I could never get the compass to calibrate correctly. Never took my sons out of the package and just returned it with mine.

Don't buy this watch thinking it's a bargain-rate Casio with a million cool backpacking features. It's a junky, use-until-it-breaks watch. The compass is wildly inaccurate. Mine indicates a bearing of 200 degrees at all orientations with respect to true or magnetic North.I spent an hour trying to calibrate it; nada.

I thought this watch would be good to wear hiking. But when I opened the package and put it on, I couldn't read the neutral colored face without my glasses. Since I'm farsighted and don't need glasses to hike, the watch won't work for me. Sent it back without trying its useful features.
