They just didn't fit me well. Boots are such a personal thing. They were too narrow and had too many pressure points.

I have an extremely narrow foot and therefore would have liked one more notch/closure for a perfectly snug fit, but this wouldn't affect anyone else I suspect.

Tecnica makes some of the best boots out there in terms of fit, quality of construction, adjustability, and comfortable fit. Addnl specs: 90 flex, 98mm forefoot last. For intermediate to advanced skiiers. Flex is adjustable. 2007 model. Fit for men: I'm a size 8.5 mens, with moderately wider than normal feet and got these in 26.5 Mondo. I bought these womens' boots because I like their narrowness in the heel- they cup better and prevent my heels from rising. The colors is fairly neutral so I decided to take the risk, and wasn't disappointed! Be aware that these are anatomically different design for womens' feet and leg shape (see Tecnica's website for a video on how it's different), so determine if that shape works for you.Breaking in period: There was one sharp spot in the entire boot initially (near the top of the right boot on the foot above the toes), which was quite uncomfortable (a "7" on a pain scale of 1 - 10, most painful being 10); however, over 4 days of skiing with the nearest buckle set looser and then gradually tightened over time, it went away. They're now snug and comfortable. Fyi, I also swapped out the liners for some Superfeet Green Orthotic insoles which provide better heel support than the regular insoles. Note that the insoles that come with the boots are very high quality and much better than with most boots, it's just that I prefer the extra heel support for my feet pronation. The orthotics are available on the web or at your local ski store (probably a better choice since they're several different levels of arch support to choose from).Proof of the pudding is in ... : We just bought a second pair of these for my wife. She's a 8.5 ASICS sneaker size with slightly narrow feet and protruding ankle bones (really...) and Mondo size 25.5 fit her snug. No constriction around the ankle at all. Here's a helpful link for fitting ski boots and deciding whether to keep/return if you're buying online: [@]

Boot was too narrow for my wide feet. Other features appear to be as described.
