    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I like them, but a professional fitter told me they are specially designed for hugely-wide feet and ankles and regular people have no business wearing them. If true, that should have been disclosed on your website. I'll have to have more and more specially-fitted padding installed to keep using them.

    Luckily I got a half size bigger but I could've used a whole size bigger. They're ok to ski in but they're too small to walk in.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    Haven't skied in them yet, but they're really comfortable and look great. The lining is super soft and looks shiny, like a silvery-gray. I ordered three different sizes. I measure at a 23.5 (equivalent to a size 6-1/2) but normally wear a size 7 in shoes. The 24.5 (7-1/2) fit best so I'd say they're cut about a half size too small.
