Tecnica Desert Low Trail Shoes (For Men)

These shoes just arrived, so I cannot comment on any pros and cons, best uses, or whether or not I'd recommend it to a friend. I can say that I like the look, traction, and lightweight feel. I rated the shoe at three stars only because it is required to post a review, and I think people may be interested in my experience with sizing. Sierra indicated that the shoe runs small, and suggested ordering a half size larger. I was skeptical so I ordered my regular size (8.5). Turns out that the 8.5 is not too small, but rather too big! I think it is unlikely that the problem is unique for me, because I wear mostly 8.5 and occasionally a 9. I will be returning these shoes in favor of a half size SMALLER than my normal size. I'll post another review later (or edit this one) with details about best use, durability, etc... Hope that helps!

The shoe is great with it open throat lacing system adjust to many widths of feet. The Tecnica rolling system makes walking easier and you can run in these shoe if needed. Ortholite insert keeps your feet dry and molds to and hug your foot. What I like it's not water proof and breaths well and if you do get your feet wet it will dry out quicker. The shoes light color does not absorb the sun rays to keep your feet cool. This is my second pair when I find a shoe I like I always buy a second spare pair because Tecnica will not make this shoe again.

I own two pairs of Tecnica shoes, and both are my go-to pairs for comfort, especially when I travel or have to walk long distances. I have walked over five miles several times with this pair and have yet to experience any blistering or sore feet. The footbed is very cushioned and feels great.
