    they are great for biking or warm weather/warm rain walking-the upper part is a mesh material..the sole is a bit stiff & flat-not for running or long walks. Since they are advertised as a "sporting-type"/footwear, I thought they were going to have more of a sneaker shape sole-with more of an arch, not..completely flat! ..I like them just the same-very cool looking& acting(breathable)!!..
