Ad online stated these were 7 US size. When I received them, they were actually 7 UK size, which was size 9 US. Loved them, wanted them for a long time, and was dissapointed when I had to return them. I put notes all over the return receipt and inside the box so that when they come back on the website they will properly be advertised as size 9. When it states they are size 7 on the website it is assumed they are using the US size. Vendor just posted them wrong, and I'm sure no one will experience that with those boots again. I EXPRESS EXCHANGED AND LOVE SIERRA TRADING POST, THE WONDERFUL WAY THEY DO BUSINESS ONLINE WITH THE CUSTOMER.

Trail running

Going to Costa Rica for birding tour, so will be walking in all sorts of terrain. Need to feel secure about footing as I have had back problems for 40 years.

I usually buy 1/2 size smaller for this brand. But these shoes are still a tad to big.

Very nice boots. Couldn't get these at the ski shop for this price. Have to do the research yourself but well worth it. These are easy to get into and the liners pull out easily to dry. Very good looking with the white and black tops. Good flex.

Just returned from skiing in Utah. My foot size is 10.5, I bought the 27.5 boot. The fit was snug, I had to do very little buckle adjustments.

These trail shoes are fantastic! Light weight with excellent build quality. I'm finiky about shoes but these are cushioned & comfortable through the whole gait cycle right out of the box.STP is great as usual - what a bargain! Always a customer!

Everybody is diff, but I have never had a boot that fit my low-volume foot any better. I was locked in without feeling crammed in with this boot. Haven't used enough to know if 5 stars, but I suspect it's 5-star stuff. First time out it was perfect mix of comfort, fit and performance. Got compliments on the looks of the boot. It is flashy, but not obnoxiously so.

I absolutely love the unique design, color combination and fit of this hiker! But, when I put them on the exceptionally rigid arch support cup hurt me like the dickens. There is no way that IT will ever be "broken in"! And, well padded, thick hiking socks do not help the problem either. This hiker might fit the bill for either tough feet or feet that are healing from an injury and require super dooper support. But, you will not go far in them unless you are really, really tough.Does anyone out there really need that kind of arch protection?

I own two pairs of Tecnica shoes, and both are my go-to pairs for comfort, especially when I travel or have to walk long distances. I have walked over five miles several times with this pair and have yet to experience any blistering or sore feet. The footbed is very cushioned and feels great.
