After putting 20 days of skiing on these boots I can only say they are the best I have ever skied on. They are the classic de-tuned race boot. I almost bought another pair to store away for future use. The Diablos are very responsive and fit like a glove which can make them a bear to get on but also allows for superior feel and sensitivity. I put all the adjustments on the softest setting and like it like that. I also replaced the factory insoles with superfeet. and lastly I had the boots canted after skiing with them temporarily canted and then checked on the Dal Bello canting device before having them permanently shaved. The boots fit like ski boots do. The same size boot as your regular shoes will feel fine in the shop. But after skiing on them 10 times the inner boot will compress and after 10 more times feel too large. I measure 27.5 and bought 26.5 which were initially a tight fit but now are perfect. This is a race fit. If you want comfort first go with the bigger size but eventually you will end up padding them up and losing some degree of responsiveness. I also bought Blizzard Magnum 7.6 skis. Combined with the Diablos, this is a sweet combo that rips on the hardpack. Tecnica owns Blizzard and the two products work very well together. I moved the bindings back 1 cm to compensate for the ramp angle. They were noticeably more neutral after this adjustment and about right. I am going to try going back another cm and see what that does but will probably end up only 1 cm back of the recommended setting.

Yeah you hear it straight from the horses mouth, the squeaky boots squeak no more! After wearing these boot about a month to clean snow out of the driveway, the squeak went away. I have no problems now with these boots, except they needed to have a better insole. That was an easy fix. These boots keep my feet dry and they are nice looking. So, if you do buy them, give them a little extra time to get broke in.

Liking them after about 7 days in them. like most boots, it took a while to get used to them (still working on that). They are not as stiff as I was expecting, but seem to be good at transmitting energy to my skis. Definitely a great deal for the price I paid ($230).

When I bought this boot I was concerned about the low-volume 98mm last, but it turns out these are the right boot for me. I'm a skinny guy so this narrow-width boot fits my foot like they were made for me -- and for the price I paid I can't believe how awesome they are. And I don't think they're ugly...

I love these boots. Easier to wear than the traditional puffy Moon Boot, but it does have an elevated insole that keeps your foot off the ground and warm. Cute! Fits true to size. I wear a 6/6 1/5 and the 37 was perfect....with socks on.

I took the advice of other raters and ordered a half size smaller. The shoes fit great and are super light weight. I am looking forward to getting out of snow boots and into these for some hiking!

I thought these would be great however I found that although they were soft and comfortable, they lacked stability. Just standing in them made my feet feel as though they were falling off the footbed.

This is the first shoe I've put on my foot, other than Ecco's, that fit great right out of the box. The width was perfect. The length was exactly right. My toes didn't feel crunched and the insoles were really supportive and well cushioned. The day they arrived we'd gotten several inches of wet, slushy snow but they stayed clean and kept my feet dry. I'm on my feet all day at work and chasing children, and my feet felt great after what is now day three of all day every day. Would recommend these to anyone who loves Ecco hiking shoes, but not the Ecco price tag.
