Verified Buyer Reviewed by Non-noodler from Oklahoma City on Sunday, December 27, 2015This rod is a great value at the STP pricing, but is definitely not a G Loomis. Still, very nice rod for the price!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jim from Alaska on Wednesday, August 27, 2014This light weight 20lb rod is a lot of fun to catch fish on. Went out of Seward, AK for Silver Salmon, mooching. Laid into a 15lber and game on. A lot of fun reeling this one in. Had put a nice reel on the rod as well which helped. Anyway, I hooked up next time with "Alaska" and pulled my rod into nearly a vee shape. While pulling it out of the rod holder the bottom piece caught got caught up and it broke! Not the rods fault, my fault. I ordered another one!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sk from Ohio on Monday, May 19, 2014Well made rod and a real buy with the discount but tag says not made be G. Loomis
Reviewed by Doc B from Denver, CO. on Monday, May 20, 2013These rods are a little fragile, however, have a reat response and touch.
Reviewed by bezer from florida on Saturday, May 11, 2013These are great rods that are balanced well and have good hardware. They cast nice.I like the color coding. If you need a baitcaster you have to look at these. The stp price can't be beat. They were sold out of some of the other weights I wanted or I would have bought 3.If you shop around and compare this rod to others I feel strongly you'll buy this one and at the STP price you can't go wrong.
