This rope is lightweight with a good hand. I will use it on multi-pitch, long routes. Probably not beefy enough for a general purpose beater crag rope, but definitely a good product.

Used it only once so far, so the longevity is yet to be determined. Out of the bag, seems to be smooth, easy to handle and durable. Little too heavy at 71g/m, but for cragging will do just fine. Very good buy for the price though.

Great all around rope. Mfg date was the month prior to purchase, so that should not be a factor when buying.

This rope is great. Very comparable to Mammut ropes feel and usability. I have used a few different ones that friends have bought. They all work really well, have some good durability and overall feel great when climbing.

***One thing. I don't know if the other reviewer looked in the wrong spot, but the date of manufacturing is on the card stock, not the rope end. The three ropes I have looked at say January 24, 2011 manufacture date. Hope that clears it up.***

Looks like a good quality rope. Only thing I'm concerned about is its date of manufacture. If I'm reading the date code correctly (green color on rope ends), my rope was made in 2004. Since I won't be using this rope for lead climbing, the older date is not an immediate issue for me. It will, however, shorten the time I plan on using the rope. If the rope's date of manufacture was more recent, I would rate it higher.
