Like the ability to wash and dry in a short time. Especially after a long hot sweaty ride, the odor control feature is great.

Have tried other "breathable" shirts, and they ARE breathable in the winter, but hot in the summer. These actually work in the summer. Living in Coastal NC, tons of humidity. These are great.

  • Question “I've bought a dozen of Terramar's "Body Sensor" t-shirts and really like them, but they haven't been available lately. Does anyone know how the Dri-Release T's compare? They both offer moisture management and are quick drying, but I'm not sure about the fit and finish. Thanks!”

  • Question “Can someone give me a sense of the two reddish colors? The "flame" looks like bright red, and the "red" looks like orange. Have the labels been switched? And what about the "cobalt"? It looks pretty close to your standard royal, which I'm not a fan of, but if it's darker than it looks onscreen or has a smigeon of purple, I might like it.”

  • Question “How does the Dri-Release T-Shirt compare to the Terramar Coolmax version? Are there any functional, practical differences?”
Asked on 8/25/2011 12:00:00 AM by db hiker from CA
    • Answer There is a difference in fabric. The Terramar Dri-Release T-Shirt is made from 85% polyester and 15% cotton. The Terramar Coolmax is made of 100% polyester. The Sierra Trading Post sells both shirts.

  • Question “I wear an x-large cotton t-shirt if wearing one casually. I wear a large cotton t-shirt if wearing one under a dress shirt. How do these fit post-washing? On the loose or tight side of things? I have a 44-45 inch chest, so looking for a good compromise.”
Asked on 5/1/2011 12:00:00 AM by Chuck from Ashburn, VA
    • Answer I'd recommend giving the Large a try. I am a 43 and find these still have plenty of room but aren't baggy. I can't say what the XL is like since I haven't tried that size to check the difference. I have not had any shrinkage from washing either so I think the Large will be a safe bet. These are very soft and comfortable. One side note however, they are thin and the white is fairly transparent but no problem with the colored shirts. Good luck.
Answered on 5/11/2011 12:00:00 AM by BargainDad from Portland, ME
    • Answer I'd go with the Large. I am a 44+ chest and I have an X-Large which is quite loose even baggy so for slim fit under another shirt try the X-Large.

    • Answer Correct the former answer I just sent - ending comment should be to go with a Large not an X-Large

  • Question “The shirt is 15% cotton. Does the shirt feel like cotton? Meaning does it feel more or less like a normal t-shirt?”
Asked on 3/17/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer This shirt feels like a soft cotton.
Answered on 4/4/2011 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer Yes, it feels like cotton. It is one of the softest shirts I have ever owned. I am disappointed that the other colors still are not available. I actually own nine of these shirts. I started using them as undershirts and they are much better than cotton shirts in the summer. If anyone ever finds these in more colors I would love to know.
Answered on 10/30/2011 12:00:00 AM by Lonnie from Illinois
    • Answer Yes, more so than any other poly-dominant tech fabric I've seen. A bit lighter, though. Not like a Beefy-T.
