Terramar Silk Long Underwear Top - Lightweight, Long Sleeve (For Men)

Was looking for something light and wicking to wear under motorcycle race leathers. While this material is certainly light, it is too light and is actually more transluscent than a pair of panty hose... not that I would know. At any rate, shear material is not necessarily undersireable. However in this case, the weave seemed very loose as well which is the hallmark of a poor quality fabric.

Use as a nightshirt on chilly nights.

Actually I have only worn this silk undergarment one time so far. It definitely did its job keeping me comfortable on a coldish bicycle ride; along with a couple of other thin layers, plus a lightweight jacket. The fit is good (although just a bit short in length), I purchased size L, am 5'10" and weigh 175 lb. I was mainly looking for just the right amount of clothing to keep me warm without being bulky. I combined this shirt with a merino wool undergarment (also just purchased) and a l.s. cycling jersey. Windproof jacket over that stuff and the bike ride went smoothly. Also, I was impressed with how fast I received the order, just a few days!

Ideal base layer for cold weather, very comfortable. Label can be annoying, I cut them off.

Great product, light enough for year-round utility

For years have worn for everyday first layer. Like the black. Feels so good. Easy hand wash out and quick dry. Great for travel also. Keeps it shape. It's part of me. Wear mens XL.

My husband was complaining that his ski shirt was chaffing so I bought him this. It is so lightweight it takes up no room at all but adds warmth and silky next to the skin. I wear mine all winter.

Mainly for layering alpine and nordic skiing.

Very thin underliner. bought for base in multiple layers.

Bought this for my guy, who has extremely sensitive skin. He likes it because he can add it for extra warmth under another long sleeve shirt. It is very thin, so it looks kind of goofy by itself, but it's too delicate to wear without something covering it, anyway. He has super long arms and the arms are too short for him. He wears it under dress shirts and shirts that irritate him.
