I find these a great alternative to cotton as they are much less bulky, wick moisture and dry quickly. I bought a half dozen to try and liked them sdo much I bought another half dozen.

As a female, I am using these to hold an incontinence pad (maximum absorbancy) in place. Perfect sizing for that, and waist runs true to size (=hip size for women). And if you have a minor leak, you can sop it up with paper towels/toilet paper and fabric is totally dry because it doesn't absorb and hold liquid. Fabric is soft but strong. Leg openings and waist are covered, so with a latex allergy I do not have any irritation. Elastic is durable. You can easily wash these by hand, and they dry very quickly if moisture is blotted out in towel first. The only problem would be explaining the front opening if I have to go to the ER, but then, that would probably be the least of my worries!

Great men's briefs. I purchased half a dozen about three years back. They wear like iron. Just purchased a dozen more as it appears Sierra will not be carrying the product once all inventory is closed out and I'll not be able to purchase. Too bad. Great product. Great support.
Also for those who are concerned about these brief not holding up over multiple washings. Not to worry! Of the six I purchased three years back only one has lost its ilasticity and had to be discarded.

Again, fine clothing product and I would recommend to anyone more mature in years.

These briefs are comfortable but very long. They come up to my belly button, longer than any other brief I've ever encountered.

    • Answer I think they fit as advertised. Compared to other briefs I find they are about the same. Not knowing your size is another issue.

    • Answer As stated in my review, these briefs seem really roomy at first look, and are slightly bigger that my cotton Jockeys or Calvin Kleins, but because of the nature of the fabric, they're comfortable. If you're a Large, I wouldn't order something smaller. I have a really skinny butt, and these briefs feel comfortably snug.

    • Answer Out of the box, they appear to be a bit long, but they're a little stretchy and really, their bit of added length just makes them really comfy. I'm pretty fit with a small butt, but they are not droopy. If you have a big waist, go for the XL. I have other synthetic undies for their quick drying ability, and these terramar briefs are better than most.

    • Answer My husband said they were fine for him and ran true to expected size. We also bought some Hugo Boss undies and they were small for the marked size.

    • Answer Since these are polyester they can be washed in a stream and they will dry relatively quickly.

    • Answer I have washed them in a river or stream. Remember to keep soap 200 feet away from surface water (dump the soapy water in a sump hole). Yes, even biodegradable soap is still soap - 200 feet. If you just rinse them, you're good.
