I was going to use it as a base layer so I won't use the shoulder zip pocket, but as the layer under a vest or warm-up layer it would be great. Probably, just the ticket for an early morning trail run.

The inside fleece has a grid pattern which the males in my family love. My husband has remarked several times that he really likes this shirt; he wears it over a t-shirt so that it functions like a lightweight sweatshirt - but nice enough to wear to work on a casual day.
