I liked the first one so much that I bought a second one just to have "on hand". There is a thumb hole on the sleeves which is nice to keep my hands warm when it is just a bit chilly out.

I LOVE THIS HOODIE! Warmer than expected for the thin material, makes for great layering. Thumb holes are always a plus. The front zips up to the chin, so its not totally necessary to wear a scarf (in less than arctic conditions). Soft and comfortable material.

Sadly disappointed with this one, after some great items from Terramar. The sizing is really big and the fabric feels much thinner and cheaper than other similar items from the same company. The fabric also had a really chemically/plastic smell. Was disappointed to send this one back!

I purchased this Terramar for my mother. She said that she wanted a warm jersey. I have purchased Terramar underclothes for myself in the past and I really like the quality of their products. Mom said that she liked it and it keeps her warm without the bulk of a heavier garment.

From the moment I first put this on, I loved the fit, style and the softness. I hesitate to call it a sweatshirt, because it's very thin, but it is surprisingly warm and oh so comfortable. The very soft fabric feels really cosy. The cut is attractive. I'm 5'5, 135 lb and the medium fits me well (i prefer a loose fit). The arms are a bit long and have thumb holes, but the extra length doesn't bother me. I work out mornings at the gym, and this is what I wear over my workout tank top and under my coat for the cold commute to the gym in the winter. It's thin enough to fit under my coat with no problem, and it keeps my arms nice & warm instead of bare arms being frozen by my coat lining, if you know what I mean. It's a great mid layer. My only "con" is as other reviewers have said, the fabric begins to show pills early on and I doubt it will keep looking good for long. Yet I liked it so much I bought a second one to wear for when this one wears out. Also very comfy for lounging at home or would look perfectly nice to wear over a t-shirt outside in warmer (spring) weather.

Great midlayer for men too! I ordered these for my wife and daughter plus both another W's and a M's version for myself. The Men's was baggy, loose hood, no thumbloops. The W's version is a great active piece in my opinion. Fabric is warm, breathes well, and is quite stretchy. Thumbloops prevent a cold gap at the glove/sleeve interface; hood provides a similar advantage between jacket and helmet when skiing. It is not at all wind-resistant so it breathes well but requires a shell to hold the warmth. As a midlayer the pockets add bulk without adding value. The hem length is quite generous so it won't ride up- the W's Large is about 27" and fits me fine (I usually wear a M's Medium) The main features, fabric, and weight are similar to the Patagonia R1 Hoody, but with a coupon it was 1/5 the price. Two thumbloops up!

Great to wear around for any purpose, the only issue I have is, as other reviewers have commented, it did begin to pill after the first wearing. It's a great hoody though, so I'll be wearing it in the garden!

This is a very soft and comfy sweatshirt. I am 5'6" tall and weight about 165 lbs. I ordered a large and it fits well. It is a little long but that's OK. I washed it and dried it and it didn't shrink at all. I did wash and dry it inside out so that it wouldn't pill. So far, so good. I bought it in black but would love to have other brighter colors.
